Clothing should be dance clothing or comfortable stretchy clothing for most camps.  Aerial Camps-students must wear leggings or stretchy pants and a short, tank or leotard fully covering their torso. Hair pulled back off face. 

Dance shoes are optional except for Summer Intensive (all styles of shoes to be brought) Level Up Camp and Technique on Fleek which students must bring jazz or ballet shoes (dance socks optional). Hair to be pulled back off face and in ponytail for hair that is longer than shoulders. 

Ballet Intensive-Dancers must wear traditional ballet attire, hair to be in bun. 

Hip Hop- classes/camps must have clean sneakers (free of dirt, rocks, debris on the soles). Dancers should pack plenty of water and desired snacks or lunch for longer camps.

Cancellation Policy:

A Cancellation request must be made via our online Summer Camp Cancellation Form a minimum of 30 days prior to camp/intensive date to receive a full refund less $25.00 administrative fee.

Cancellation Forms received 15-29 days prior to camp/intensive date will receive a 50% refund less $25.00 administrative fee.

Cancellation Forms received less than 15 days prior to camp/intensive date will not receive a refund. Only those with a medical emergency will be eligible for a 50% refund less $25.00 administrative fee with a physician’s note in the event of severe illness or injury preventing participation.

An Avanti Camp favorite, come learn to fly with us!  Our New Flyers (Level 1) aerial silks camps are for students who are brand new to aerial silks or have taken classes for less than 1 year and still working on basic foundational skills. Students will learn and practice a routine in a knot, foot locks, and climbing. No experience needed.

Aerial silks helps students be strong, flexible, creative, make friends, and gain confidence through this fun active activity.  Camp will include a short warm up and stretching on the ground, conditioning on the apparatus, and then focus on aerial silks technique, tricks, and learning new skills. Level 3 Students must be able to climb to the top of the silk with Russian and regular climb, get into a double foot locks in the air on their own without the instructors help, execute a safe angel drop, and be able to do one straddle climb from the floor. 

Each camp will include a short warm up and stretching on the ground, conditioning on the apparatus, and then focus on aerial silks technique, tricks, and learning new skills. There will be two short breaks during camp so be sure to pack snacks and a water bottle.

AVANTI’s Summer Ballet Intensive will provide an immersive classical experience with various instructors, directed by Michael Houston.  In addition to traditional 90 minute ballet classes, our intensive will provide specific technique classes, dedicated to turns, allegro (petit and grande), adagio, variations, and partnering, to provide deeper concentration in these skills.  We will also provide Pilates classes to help stretch, strengthen, and correct any imbalances in the body.

Level 4 Students must be able to confidently straddle climb to the top of the silk, execute a clean double angel drop, and single star drop.

Let’s hear it for ADC’s first ever CHEER Camp!   Campers will spend a fun-filled week cheering, dancing, and building confidence in their skills! Our awesome instructors will work on all cheer basics through fun games, plus learn upbeat routines!  Please join us for a final cheer performance at the end of camp on Thursday. No prior cheerleading experience is required, as our coaches push each student to their own individual potential, and focus on the FUN of learning new routines.

Calling all Song & Cheer enthusiasts!  Take your skills to the next level with our Pom Camp!  This camp will focus on pom choreography that coordinates elements of jazz and hip hop to get you pep rally ready!  Dancers will focus on leaps, turns, improving flexibility, and hitting sharper!  Learn to work as a cohesive team and build self-confidence.  Please join us for a final performance at the end of the last day of camp.  (Poms provided, but you are also welcomed to bring your own if you prefer)

Summer is the best time to train hard and invest in your technique.  This camp allows dancers to take the necessary time to make serious changes and improvements in their muscle memory.  Dancers will come away from this camp with a deeper understanding of their alignment and placement, and how to keep their bodies conditioned throughout the year.  In addition to regular 60-90 minute classes such as ballet, jazz and contemporary, this camp offers specialty classes which will concentrate on different aspects of technique, such as turns, leaps, flexibility, feet/ankles, legs/extensions, etc.

Calling all aspiring Broadway stars to come join Wonka’s world of Pure Imagination, in this magical musical theatre camp!  The first day of camp will serve as “Auditions”.  After casting, the remaining days we will work as a team to create a 15-30 minute adaptation of the 2023 film, focusing mostly on the dance scenes.  Please join us for the performance at the end of the last day of camp.

Summer is the best time to train hard and “LEVEL UP”.  This camp challenges dancers to accomplish their goals and pick up choreography faster.  Dancers will come away from this camp with lower splits, higher kicks/leaps, cleaner turns, and a deeper understanding of how to move their bodies.  In addition to regular 45-60 minute classes such as ballet, jazz and contemporary, this camp also offers specialty classes which will concentrate on different aspects of technique, such as turns, leaps, flexibility, etc.

Our summer hip-hop dance camp is an immersive experience where students can really loosen up and get funky!  This camp offers fun and engaging classes from a wide variety of instructors, where young dancers can learn and practice foundational hip hop dance techniques, grooves, choreography, freestyle and even some breakdance moves. Campers will express creativity in a supportive and energetic environment, and come away from this camp with improved dance skills and confidence.

Get ready to dance to your favorite songs from Disney’s latest hit movies!  This camp is filled with technique and fun dance combos to the songs your little one can’t stop singing!  In addition to learning new tricks and fun dance routines, campers will do arts/crafts and play games to inspire their creativity.  Please join us for a performance at the end of the last day of camp!

Aerial Performance Team

AVANTI’s Aerial Performance Team is a community of aspiring young aerialists who want to focus on aerial artistry, performance, and musicality in addition to developing more advanced tricks, flexibility, strength and stamina. Aerial Performance Team combines the technical skills and pageantry of Cirque with dance and athleticism giving these young aerialists the opportunity to showcase their hard work through various community performances throughout the season as well as entering choreographed routines in aerial arts competitions.
