Registration and Enrollment Guide

Welcome to Avanti Dance Company!

Before attending classes, all new students MUST register through our online Customer Portal.

Once completed, you will be added to our e-newsletter so you are kept up to date on what is happening at Avanti Dance Company. You will be the first to know when new classes, dance camps and works shops/master classes are announced!

Signing Up For Youth Classes

Youth Classes are only available through in-studio sign up or by contacting us at (949) 375-5579 or by email admin.

This is to ensure we are assisting parents with selecting the most appropriate classes for the student’s level.

**However, Youth Students are first required to be registered by a parent by clicking the Customer Portal on our website or by clicking the link here.

  • PARENTS please enter your First and Last name where it states “New to Our Site”.
  • Enter your information for all required fields under Section 1.) Contact Information. Then enter the email address and password you would like to use for your login information under Section 2.) Login. Passwords must be at least 8 characters long and must include at least 1 number.
  • To add the student’s information under Section 3.) Family Member click “Add Family Member” this will reveal additional fields to fill in your child’s name and date of birth. In addition to entering his or her first and last name and date of birth, you will need to select the “Child Of Your Name” option in the “Relationship” drop down menu and should check the “Yes” circle next to “Paid for by Your Name.” Click the “Save” button. Read our Studio Liability Release and agree to the terms, then click “Create Account.”
  • Last step, IMPORTANT, complete the Billing Information with your credit card information that you wish to be utilized for monthly, auto-payment schedule for your child’s tuition.
Signing Up For Adult Classes

Click the Customer Portal link here.

  • Select “ALL CLASSES” at the top menu bar to view our class schedule by style of dance or by teacher.
  • Once you have chosen the best class for you, click the “Sign Up” button. This will open up a new window to our Mindbody online scheduler. If you are new to ADC, enter your first and last name in the box titled “New to our site?,” then click the “Next” button. If you already have an account, sign in and skip to Step 4 for drop-in classes or Step 5 for workshops, master classes, and enrollment classes.
  • Enter your information for all required fields under 1.) Contact Information. Then enter the email address and password you would like to use for your login information under 2.) Login. Passwords must be at least 8 characters long and must include at least 1 number. Skip section 3.) Family Member. Read our Studio Liability Release and agree to the terms, then click “Create Account.”
  • The information about the class you chose should appear on the next screen. For adult drop-in classes, you can choose to “Make a Single Reservation” or “Make a Recurring Reservation.” Click either option to open a new window where you can purchase one (1) drop-in class or any of our Discounted Class Card Packages. Choose an item to go to your Shopping Cart and click “Check Out.” Fill in your Billing Information and finally click “Make Purchase.”
  • For workshops, master classes, and enrollment classes, click the “Enroll” button to go to your Shopping Cart and click “Check Out.” Fill in your Billing Information and finally click “Make Purchase.
Class Changes and Enrollment Cancellation Policy

When dropping or adding a class at any time during the year, please communicate this to the front desk personnel. It will be the student’s responsibility or parent if student is a minor, to complete a “Drop-Add” request form to ensure the student is properly enrolled in class(es). Teachers are not privy to any tuition amount the student pays and therefore can unknowingly allow students to take their class who are not properly enrolled. If a student commences taking additional classes without having properly enrolled into the class, the student and/or parent will still be responsible for any fees related to such additional classes.

Cancelling Enrollment

Not showing up for a class(es), does not constitute a withdrawal from class. Accounts will continue to be charged for tuition even with absences until the change has been properly completed. If the dancer or parent wishes to discontinue classes indefinitely and stop the auto- payment schedule for tuition, notice must be given in writing thirty (30) days prior to the next billing cycle. Cancellation of any enrollment in classes will not be accepted by phone.

 

Cancelled Classes and Full Classes

Full Classes

A waitlist will be started for any classes which are closed due to reaching maximum capacity. Students will be waitlisted on a first come first serve basis. Students will be notified of available openings based on this list.

Private Lessons

Private lessons are available and booked through the individual instructor. If you would like to book a private lesson please speak to our front desk staff for our instructor contact list.

How to Check Your Account

Once you’ve created an account through our online Customer Portal with Mindbody you will be able to access and update the following:

  • Profile – personal information including email, username, password, address, phone number, and billing
  • My Schedule – upcoming classes
  • Visit History – previous classes attended or absent
  • Purchase History – all items purchased through Avanti’s Mindbody online account
  • Account Balance – tuition items, including remaining balance of Class Cards

To access this information from our website click on Customer Portal, log in with your information, and click the “My Info” tab.

Annual Registration is $25 per student,
$50 family maximum

90 min class Add-On Fee:

Tuition Policies

Tuition is due to ADC on the 1st of each month and is non-refundable. Tuition for classes is billed per month, not per class. Tuition remains the same regardless of absences, holidays and whether it is a long (five-week) month or a short (three-week) month. Tuition credits may be considered on a case by case basis in situations of serious injury or illness which mandates prolonged absence as substantiated by medical documentation. Families must give a 30-day notice if you chose to take a break from ADC. If the student takes a break mid season he/she will be required to re-enroll and pay the $25 re-registration fee.

Payment

Auto-payment via credit or debit card is mandatory for tuition payments. For those who are unable to comply with the auto- payment requirement, there will be a $10 fee per month added to their monthly tuition. MAKE-UPS: No tuition refunds will be given for missed classes.   ADC will make every effort to allow a student to attend make-up classes for scheduled classes he/she has missed but cannot always guarantee this privilege. Students must make up any missed classes within one month of the absence during the Fall-Spring Season or make up any missed classes within one week during the Summer Session. Students may only attend the same number of make-up classes as the number of classes missed. Students may not drop into a class for a make-up without prior permission. All make-ups must be approved by the front desk staff and a recommendation of classes to take for the make- ups will be provided.

Late Fee

We have a very fair policy regarding the assessment of late fees. Payments are due on the first of each calendar month. There is no late fee assessed until after 15th of the month. Any account unpaid after the fifteenth of the month will have late charges assessed for 10% of the total monthly tuition and/or account balance. If you make a payment late, you will need to make this at the front desk with the Avanti staff. Please include your late fee or you will be billed the following month. There is a $25.00 penalty fee charged for any returned payments. Any student with an overdue balance of more than 45 days will not be allowed into class until payment in full is received.

 

Attendance Policy

If a student has an unexcused absences of three or more classes consecutively or missed the same class five or more times within a two month period for any class which is at maximum capacity, ADC reserves the right to drop the student from the class and make his/her spot available to another student who has been on a waitlist for said class. HOLIDAYS: The studio will not necessarily close regardless if area schools are closed. If in doubt call the studio or check our website before coming to class. If classes are canceled notification from the studio will be sent via email or posted on the website www.avantidancecompany.com
